Binh Thuan police destroyed nearly 900 weapons and support tools

Implementing the "High point of attack, crime suppression, ensuring security and order, competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification", from March 31, 2025 to present, the Provincial Police have conducted many campaigns to mobilize people to hand over weapons and support tools. Through propaganda, mobilization and inspection work, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Provincial Police received 876 types of weapons, explosives and support tools from local police units. Including: 525 weapons, explosives, support tools; 306 firecrackers and 47 types of other weapons and support tools that were damaged and no longer effective. After inspection and classification, the weapons and support tools were destroyed in accordance with the correct procedures, ensuring absolute safety for people and property.

The destruction of a large number of weapons and support tools this time not only demonstrates the spirit of determination in the fight against crime but also contributes to maintaining peace for the people, especially at a time when many important holidays and political and cultural events are approaching.
