Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung's son sold all SSI shares, who bought?

Mr. Nguyen Duy Linh, son of Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSI Securities Corporation - has just reported that he has sold all 47.12 million SSI shares he owns, equivalent to more than 3.12% of the company's charter capital.

The above transaction was conducted through negotiation, taking place between August 19 and August 23. To date, Mr. Linh no longer holds any shares at SSI Securities, or in other words, is no longer a shareholder of the company.

SSI Chairman Nguyen Duy Hung currently owns 11.68 million SSI shares, equivalent to 0.77% of the company's charter capital. Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh - Mr. Nguyen Duy Linh's brother - still owns approximately 3.5 million SSI shares, equivalent to 0.23% of the charter capital.

In a related development, NDH Investment Company Limited (NDH Invest) purchased 32 million SSI shares from August 21 to August 23. Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung is Chairman of NDH Invest Company and Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh is General Director of this company.

Thus, it is likely that a large portion of the SSI shares that Mr. Linh sold were purchased by NDH Invest.

After the above transaction, NDH Invest increased its holdings at SSI from 94.24 million shares to 126.24 million SSI shares, equivalent to 8.35% of charter capital.

According to SSI Securities' semi-annual audited financial report, in the first half of the year, the company achieved VND 4,279.9 billion in operating revenue, a sharp increase of 35% over the same period; total financial operating revenue more than doubled in the first half of 2023, reaching approximately VND 95 billion. Profit after tax reached more than VND 1,612 billion, an increase of 51.3%.
