"With impressive scores: Literature 9.25; Math 7.4; Chinese 10, Thao Nguyen decided to choose the Diplomatic Academy, studying in parallel with the Vietnam National Academy of Music," Ms. Hoa shared.

Ms. Hoa said that her daughter's choice of the International Relations faculty at the Diplomatic Academy is very suitable for the traditional music field that Thao Nguyen is pursuing.

"Traditional music performers often perform in other countries, so studying at the same time will be very good," Ms. Hoa emphasized.

Previously, Thao Nguyen had achieved 10 points in graduating from intermediate level of Dan Tranh at Vietnam National Academy of Music.

In addition to Thao Nguyen, Trong Tan also has a son, Tan Dat, 20 years old, currently studying Vocal Music at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Tan Dat is passionate about singing and composing, and has appeared in several programs with his father.

Trong Tan often discusses professional knowledge with his children. During exams, he always follows and supports them. His wife is stricter, setting high academic goals for her children.

Trong Tan is 48 years old this year, famous after winning the first prize of Sao Mai in 1999. He is associated with many songs of the homeland and revolution such as Tieng dan bau (Nguyen Dinh Phuc), Tinh ta bien bac dong xanh (Hoang Song Huong), Noi dao xa (The Song). He is a harmonious duet with Anh Tho, and is also part of the Red Music Trio with Dang Duong and Viet Hoan. His wife - Thanh Hoa - is a childhood friend, always supporting Trong Tan in his work.
