With Acting Principal, more than 100 students of Medical College received graduation certificates

According to this decision, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the authority of Principal of Quang Nam Medical College to Mr. Bui Long An, Vice Principal of this College until the competent authority decides to appoint the Principal of Quang Nam Medical College.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Home Affairs, Quang Nam Medical College; Heads of relevant units and Mr. Bui Long An to be responsible for implementing this decision. This decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Mr. Bui Long An said: “I have received the decision and on the morning of June 25, I signed some graduation certificates for students graduating this time. This time, the school has more than 100 students graduating. The Provincial People's Committee's decision is very timely, helping many students graduate and receive their graduation certificates on time and creating a comfortable mindset for them.”

Previously, on June 18, 2024, Dai Doan Ket Online Newspaper reported "The principal was prosecuted, asking for permission to transfer the principal's authority to grant graduation certificates to students", reflecting the incident, Quang Nam Medical College requested the Provincial People's Committee to allow Mr. Bui Long An, Vice Principal, to sign and issue temporary graduation certificates to students graduating this term with an expected number of 120 students.

The cause of the above incident, as reported by Dai Doan Ket Online, "Prosecuting the principal and former principal of Quang Nam Medical College", reflects that Quang Nam Provincial Police prosecuted the principal and former principal of the above school along with 2 other defendants to investigate the crime of taking advantage of position and power while performing official duties.
