In the context of many economic difficulties and potential risks of increasing violations and crimes in the tax sector, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Provincial Tax Department and the Provincial Police continue to effectively implement the Inter-sectoral Coordination Regulations in the tax sector.
Resolutely fight against and prevent violations of illegal invoice trading, tax evasion, and invoice legalization. Closely monitor enterprises and business households in craft villages to prevent tax losses in this area. Review and properly manage small-scale FDI enterprises with high potential risks. Strengthen the fight against tax losses in the field of e-commerce. Promote propaganda, raise awareness, and voluntary compliance with the law among taxpayers, creating a common consensus of the community in fulfilling the obligation to pay the budget.
Accordingly, in the past 3 years, the coordination between the Provincial Tax Department and the Provincial Police has achieved many positive results. The qualifications, professional expertise and experience of the staff have been improved, and the investigation time has been faster.
Notably, many serious violations in the purchase and sale, illegal use of invoices to evade taxes, and new cases involving foreign elements related to tax refunds have been promptly detected and prevented...
As a result, the two sectors coordinated to investigate 55 cases, sent official dispatches to coordinate the verification of signs of violations of 365 enterprises, prosecuted 35 cases related to 78 enterprises and 1 business household; conducted judicial tax appraisals on 21 cases, and collected tens of billions of VND in tax arrears.
Thereby, contributing to creating a healthy competitive business environment, promoting production development, preventing revenue loss and increasing state budget revenue.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Coordination Regulations in the fight against violations and crimes in the tax sector in 2021-2023 were awarded.
