
Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Pham Thi Thanh Mai and all officials, civil servants and employees of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council participated in the support.
At the launching ceremony, Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Khanh Long said: Vietnam's sea and islands are a sacred part of the Fatherland's territory that many generations of our ancestors shed blood to build, preserve, develop and protect the country's sovereignty for the present and the future. Participating in building and protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands is the sacred right and duty of every Vietnamese citizen.
Over the past years, responding to the practical activities of the Party Committee, the government and the people of the Capital to support and contribute to building and protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland, cadres, civil servants and employees of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council have always actively responded and supported, thereby showing their affection and responsibility for Vietnam's seas and islands. From there, they have contributed more resources to support the construction of meaningful projects, improving the material and spiritual life of soldiers and people on the seas and islands of the Fatherland.
In 2025, implementing the plan of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City on organizing a campaign to support the Fund "For Vietnam's seas and islands", officials and civil servants of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council donated at least 1 day's salary each.
All donations will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City to organize visits and encourage soldiers and people on the seas and islands of the Fatherland.
