Technology telecommunications stocks flourish, VN-Index continues to fall more than 7 points

NDO - On November 8, after about an hour of trading in green, selling pressure increased, causing the market to reverse into red. In particular, real estate and banking stocks plummeted. The focus of this session was the rise of telecommunications and information technology stocks. At the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 7.19 points to 1,252.56 points.


On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 12,559.96 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold more than 1,161 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, HPG shares were bought the most (43 billion VND), followed by FPT (20 billion VND), SZC (15 billion VND)... On the contrary, CMG shares were sold the most (178 billion VND), followed by VHM (160 billion VND), MSN (132 billion VND), MWG (81 billion VND)...

In this session, stocks: HVN, FPT, BVH, VTP were the most positive contributors, adding more than 1 point to the VN-Index. On the contrary, stocks: VHM, VCB, CTG, VIC were the most negative, reducing the general index by 4.1 points.

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with only BVH increasing 2.85% to 45,150 VND/share, 3 codes: FPT, HPG, VJC increased slightly, HDB and POW remained unchanged, the rest all decreased.

Of which, VHM decreased by 3.38% to VND40,000/share, CTG decreased by 1.69% to VND35,000/share, VIC decreased by 1.56% to VND41,050/share, MSN decreased by 1.36%, GVR decreased by 1.35%, BCM decreased by 1.19%, VIB decreased by 1.08%, VCB decreased by 1.07%, TCB decreased by 1.05%, VPB decreased by 1.02%, MBB decreased by 1.01%.

Codes: ACB, BID, GAS, MWG, PLX, SAB, SHB, SSB, SSI, STB, TPB, VNM, VRE decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for DTL, decreased by 4.91% to VND10,650/share, the rest mainly fluctuated slightly. Specifically, NKG increased by 1.18%, HPG increased by 0.19%, SMC increased by 0.14%, POM stopped at reference, HSG decreased by 0.49%, TLH decreased by 0.61%, HMC decreased by 0.91%.

The group of securities stocks traded sideways, fluctuated within a narrow range and closed in red, accounting for the majority. Specifically, CTS decreased by 0.26%, DSE decreased by 0.82%, HCM decreased by 0.68%, SSI decreased by 0.95%, TCI decreased by 0.37%, TVB decreased by 0.22%, VCI decreased by 0.43%, VDS decreased by 0.25%, VIX decreased by 0.93%, VND increased by 0.68%. On the contrary, BSI increased by 0.73%, APG increased by 0.11%, FTS increased by 0.35%, 3 codes: AGR, ORS, TVS stopped at reference.

In the banking group, only MSB increased by 0.42%, HDB stopped at the reference, the rest all decreased. Besides the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: EIB decreased by 1.04%, LPB decreased by 1.23%, OCB decreased by 0.93%, NAB decreased by 1.58%.

Real estate stocks fell the most in the market when they closed down 1.42 points. Besides VHM and VIC mentioned above, CKG fell 1.38%, DIG fell 1.88%, DXG fell 3.25%, HPX fell 1.98%, HDC fell 1.54%, LDG fell 2.51%, NTL fell 1.26%, PDR fell 1.61%, QCG fell 2.21%, SGR fell 2.28%, SJS fell 2.52%, VPH fell 2.76%...

Notably, this session, the telecommunications and information technology stocks had many positive codes, of which, VTP increased by 6.46% to 108,700 VND/share, ICT hit the ceiling to 13,400 VND/share, ITD increased by 2.14%, ST8 increased by 1.59%, CMG increased by 1.32%, ELC increased by 0.76%, FPT increased slightly by 0.52%.

* The Vietnamese stock market index lost points during most of the trading session today, VNXALL-Index closed down 11.08 points (-0.53%), to 2,076.99 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 556.85 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 14,382.17 billion. In the whole market, there were 139 stocks increasing in price, 77 stocks remaining unchanged and 241 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 226.88 points, down 0.62 points (-0.27%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 44.62 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND786.72 billion. The entire floor had 66 stocks increasing, 52 stocks remaining unchanged and 98 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 1.41 points (-0.29%) to 488.57 points. Trading volume reached about 22.70 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND574.95 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 8 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 16 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 92.15 points, down 0.16 points (-0.18%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 29.70 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 359.63 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 147 stocks increasing, 121 stocks remaining unchanged and 143 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 7.19 points (-0.57%) to 1,252.56 points. Liquidity reached over 555.50 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND13,911.28 billion. The entire floor had 125 stocks increasing, 62 stocks remaining unchanged and 254 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 9.31 points (-0.70%) to 1,317.34 points. Liquidity reached more than 219.33 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND6,853.79 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 4 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 24 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are HPG (over 24.76 million units), VPB (over 24.42 million units), VHM (over 22.51 million units), DXG (over 18.58 million units), TCB (over 13.09 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase were HRC (6.78%), ICT (6.77%), HVN (6.67%), VTP (6.46%), CSM (6.44%).
