NVL shares hit the floor, VN-Index dropped nearly 2 points

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 11,259.41 billion VND.

Foreign investors returned to net buying 7 billion VND. On the buying side, FPT shares were bought the most (over 140 billion VND), followed by VNM (66 billion VND), VHM (36 billion VND)... On the contrary, MSN was sold the most (71 billion VND), followed by MWG (60 billion VND), HPG (55 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group closed with 11 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 14 stocks decreasing.

Of which, STB increased 1.37% to VND 29,600/share.

Codes: FPT, HDB, HPG, MBB, SAB, SSI, TPB, VHM, VJC, VPB increased slightly, from 0.18-0.8%.

Five codes stopped at reference: CTG, GVR, MWG, SHB, VIC.

On the other hand, SSB decreased by 5.88% to VND16,000/share, PLX decreased by 1.29%, POW decreased by 1.15%.

The remaining codes: ACB, BCM, BID, BVH, GAS, MSN, TCB, VCB, VIB, VNM, VRE decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, the securities group traded most actively at the close with most codes increasing, of which BSI increased by 0.97%, CTS increased by 0.79%, DSE increased by 1.36%, FTS increased by 2.14%, HCM increased by 0.52%, SSI increased by 0.31%, TCI increased by 1.59%, TVB increased by 0.42%, VDS increased by 1.23%, with ORS and TVS stopping at the reference. On the contrary, AGR decreased by 0.85%, APG decreased by 0.47%, VCI decreased by 0.9%, VIX decreased by 0.44%, VND decreased by 1.38%.

Steel stocks were divided, while HPG increased by 0.8%, HSG increased by 1.25%, NKG increased by 1.66%, HMC stopped at the reference, on the contrary, SMC decreased by 0.5%, TLH decreased by 0.7%, VCA decreased by 1.33%.

Banking stocks ended the session in red. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: EIB increased by 0.27%, LPB decreased by 0.48%, MSB decreased by 0.44%, NAB stopped at reference, OCB decreased by 1.74%.

The real estate group had many codes that were sold heavily, such as: DRH, NVL hit the floor to 1,870 VND/share and 11,850 VND/share respectively, DIG decreased by 2.67%, DTA decreased by 4.12%, HTN decreased by 2.19%, ITA decreased by 3.52%, LDG decreased by 2.79%, LHG decreased by 2.01%, SCR decreased by 2.7%, TDH decreased by 2.09%.

Insurance stocks fell with BIC down 4.32%, BMI down 1.92%, BVH down 0.46%. On the contrary, MIG up 0.89%, PGI up 3.46%.

* The Vietnamese stock market index was in red almost the entire session today, VNXALL-Index closed down 2.00 points (-0.10%), down to 2,049.65 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 545.40 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 12,927.96 billion. In the whole market, there were 138 stocks increasing in price, 101 stocks remaining unchanged and 214 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 231.45 points, down 0.24 points (-0.10%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 38.58 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND719.82 billion. The entire floor had 53 stocks increasing, 61 stocks remaining unchanged and 84 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 0.13 points (-0.03%) to 502.02 points. Trading volume reached about 24.91 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND582.75 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 8 stocks increasing, 8 stocks remaining unchanged and 14 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 92.32 points, down 0.04 points (-0.04%). * At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 1.96 points (-0.16%) to 1,253.27 points. Liquidity reached over 583.17 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND12,817.53 billion. The entire floor had 170 stocks increasing, 82 stocks remaining unchanged and 218 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 index decreased by 0.18 points (-0.01) to 1,293.88 points. Liquidity reached more than 176.55 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND5,868.54 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 5 stocks remaining unchanged and 14 stocks decreasing.
