Bank stocks, securities plunge, VN-Index drops more than 14 points

NDO - In the trading session on November 14, industry groups continued to trade differently and prices fluctuated little, causing the main indices to fluctuate slightly around the reference level in the morning session. In the afternoon session, selling pressure suddenly increased, causing the market to be flooded with red, in which banking and securities stocks plummeted. At the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 14.15 points to 1,231.89 points.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value of this session was equivalent to the previous session, reaching more than 13,572.92 billion VND.

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with only 5 codes: BCM, PLX, SSB, VHM, VIC increased slightly from 0.13-1.03%, two codes: VNM, VRE stopped at reference, the remaining 23 codes decreased.

Of which, SSI decreased the most when it lost 2.95% to VND24,700/share, followed by HPG down 2.77% to VND26,300/share, STB down 2.69%, TPB down 2.48%, GVR down 2.33%, MSN down 2.19%, CTG down 2.18%, BVH down 1.88%, VPB down 1.81%, POW down 1.71%, HDB down 1.56%, TCB down 1.51%, MBB down 1.45%, ACB and BID both down 1.41%, FPT down 1.31%, SAB down 1.23%.

The remaining codes: GAS, MWG, SHB, VCB, VIB, VJC decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, only HMC increased slightly in the steel group, the rest mostly decreased sharply. Of which, NKG decreased by 4.34% to 19,850 VND/share, HSG decreased by 4.26% to 19,100 VND/share, HPG decreased by 2.77%, TLH decreased by 2.08%, SMC decreased by 1.91%, DTL decreased slightly.

In the group of securities stocks, only APG remained unchanged, the rest plummeted. Besides SSI mentioned above, AGR decreased by 4.21%, BSI decreased by 6.81%, CTS decreased by 2.99%, DSE decreased by 1.49%, FTS decreased by 2.92%, HCM decreased by 3.21%, ORS decreased by 3.03%, TCI decreased slightly, TVB decreased by 1%, TVS decreased by 1.88%, VCI decreased by 4.77%, VDS decreased by 4.9%, VIX decreased by 2.27%, VND decreased by 2.44%.

In the banking group, only SSB closed in light green, the rest were in red. Besides the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, the remaining codes: OCB decreased by 2.33%, LPB decreased by 1.26%, 3 codes: EIB, MSB, NAB decreased slightly.

Real estate stocks were also sold heavily with widespread red, including: DXG down 2.44%, HDC down 2.87%, HDG down 3.3%, KBC down 3.05%, PDR down 2.84%, SCR down 2.29%, SZC down 2.48%, TCH down 3.01%, VSI down 2.51%...

Besides, industries such as telecommunications, information technology, energy, and raw materials also plummeted.

* The Vietnamese stock market index plunged today, VNXALL-Index closed down 27.40 points (-1.33%), to 2,034.39 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 671.85 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 16,245.51 billion. In the whole market, there were 91 stocks increasing in price, 80 stocks remaining unchanged and 291 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 223.82 points, down 2.40 points (-1.06%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 45.23 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND886.63 billion. The entire floor had 56 stocks increasing, 50 stocks remaining unchanged and 120 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 8.05 points (-1.66%) to 476.60 points. Trading volume reached about 28.10 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND690.17 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 3 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 25 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 91.87 points, down 0.48 points (-0.52%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 31.26 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 489.02 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 122 stocks increasing, 103 stocks remaining unchanged and 119 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 14.15 points (-1.14%) to 1,231.89 points. Liquidity reached over 679.55 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND15,914.43 billion. The entire floor had 82 stocks increasing, 62 stocks remaining unchanged and 284 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 17.39 points (-1.33%) to 1,286.65 points. Liquidity reached more than 251.40 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 7,152.69 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 5 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 23 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are HPG (over 26.56 million units), VIX (over 20.72 million units), HAG (over 17.86 million units), VHM (over 16.94 million units), VSC (over 14.99 million units).
