(NLDO) - In the session of March 17, many bank and real estate stocks... increased impressively. Investors expect this trend to not stop.
In the session of March 17, many bank stocks simultaneously turned green.
After a correction at the end of last week, Vietnamese stocks regained momentum when opening the session on March 17 in green.
The highlight during the morning trading session belonged to the group of small and medium-sized bank stocks with quite strong increases: SHB (+5.6%), NAB (+6.2%), VPB (+2.3%)...
Entering the afternoon session, stock demand increased in many industry groups, helping the general index continue its upward momentum and close at its highest level.
At the end of the session, the VN-Index temporarily stopped at 1,336 points, up 10 points, equivalent to 0.76%.
VCBS Securities Company said that in addition to the group of bank stocks and some large stocks increasing in price, the group of real estate stocks... also attracted impressive cash flow, then spread this trend to many other stocks, contributing to the upward momentum of the general index.
Accordingly, many investors expect that banking and real estate stocks may continue to rise in the next session.
Dragon Viet Securities Company (VDSC) commented that the liquidity of the session on March 17 decreased compared to the previous session but was still at a fairly good level. This shows that the pressure to sell stocks to take profits has cooled down, while cash flow is still making efforts to support the market.
This signal can help the market continue to recover and challenge the resistance zone of 1,340 - 1,350 points. It is expected that the supply and demand dispute will take place at this resistance zone, which will have a certain impact on the next step of the market.
"Therefore, investors need to observe stock supply and demand to assess the market status, consider short-term profit taking for stocks that have increased in price to the resistance zone" - VDSC recommends
Meanwhile, VCBS Securities Company's view is that investors should continue to hold stocks with increasing prices, and select stocks with expected good business results in the first quarter of 2025 for disbursement.
