Real estate stocks soar, leading VN-Index up nearly 19 points

The stocks that had the most positive impact on the VN-Index were VIC, VHM, HPG, and MWG, with an increase of more than 11 points. On the contrary, the stocks: VCB, SSB, VNM, and VPB were sold heavily and took away more than 2 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased sharply compared to the session at the end of last week, reaching more than 11,960.15 billion VND.

Foreign investors turned to net sell more than 124 billion on HoSE. On the buying side, HPG shares were bought the most with a value of more than 298 billion VND, followed by ACB (159 billion VND), VHM (148 billion VND)... On the contrary, FPT was sold the most (195 billion VND), followed by HCM (125 billion VND), VNM (118 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 16 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 11 stocks decreasing.

Of which, MWG, VHM, VIC increased to the ceiling, up to 56,600 VND/share, 57,200 VND/share, 69,600 VND/share respectively. Other large codes such as: MSN increased by 5.08%, VRE increased by 4.64%, HPG increased by 4.32%, SSI increased by 2.77%, GAS increased by 1.89%, HDB increased by 1.45%, BVH increased by 1.36%, BCM increased by 1.34%, SAB increased by 1.02%.

Codes: BID, GVR, VIB, VJC increased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks trading in green dominated. In addition to HPG mentioned above, SMC increased by 3.53%, TLH increased by 1.05%, DTL, HMC increased slightly. On the contrary, NKG decreased by 1.2%, HSG, VCA decreased slightly.

Securities stocks traded differently in the morning session, broke out in the afternoon session and closed up 2.75%. Real estate stocks raced to break out and closed the session up 3.91%, becoming the market leader. Besides VIC and VHM mentioned above, CKG, HDG, HPX, QCG also increased to the maximum limit, DTA increased by 6.68%, DXG increased by 3.21%, SIP increased by 5.34%, TCH increased by 4.29%, TDH increased by 3.4%...

In addition, stock sectors such as: durable goods distribution and retail increased by 3.34%, consumer goods and decoration increased by 3.31%, raw materials increased by 2.76%, transportation increased by 1.37%. Sectors: insurance, food, beverage and tobacco, utilities, telecommunications, software increased slightly. On the contrary, production materials decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index increased sharply in the afternoon session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 28.98 points (+1.44%), to 2,042.81 points. Liquidity in the whole market, with trading volume reaching 1.02 billion units, equivalent to trading value reaching 24,684.10 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 263 stocks increasing in price, 54 stocks remaining unchanged and 136 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 215.00 points, up 1.66 points (+0.78%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 87.27 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,451,529 billion. The entire floor had 108 stocks increasing, 42 stocks remaining unchanged and 74 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed up 7.19 points (+1.72%) to 424.76 points. Trading volume reached over 62.16 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND1,194,027 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 22 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 6 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 91.76 points, down 1.49 points (-1.60%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 36.70 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than VND 518,530 billion. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 172 stocks increasing, 68 stocks remaining unchanged and 143 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 18.98 points (+1.55%) to 1,241.44 points. Liquidity reached over 1.04 billion units, equivalent to a trading value of VND24,216.20 billion. The entire floor had 311 stocks increasing, 48 stocks remaining unchanged and 179 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 15.93 points (+1.22%) and stood at 1,325.87 points. Liquidity reached more than 435.35 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND13,403.77 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 16 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 11 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were VIX (over 61.24 million units), HPG (over 51.20 million units), SHB (over 47.31 million units), SSI (over 36.80 million units), MBB (over 31.68 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were MWG (6.99%), GEE (6.99%), CKG (6.95%), DCM (6.94%), VHC (6.94%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were TCR (-6.99%), TEG (-6.94%), SGR (-6.91%), ADG (-6.80%), DRH (-6.73%).
