According to records, many streets in Da Nang such as Ton Duc Thang, Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Van Linh... are filled with the red color of the national flag to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

Propaganda posters and vivid paintings expressing patriotism are displayed along both sides of the road, creating a vibrant, joyful atmosphere, expressing national pride.

Mr. Tran Huy Diem (living in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city) shared: "Every time the National Day comes, I feel excited and proud when everywhere is filled with red flags with yellow stars. This year, the city is splendidly decorated, every household is happily welcoming the country's great holiday."

Many shops in Da Nang also joined in the festive atmosphere, quickly catching the trend of painting the national flag to celebrate National Day. Images of the red flag with a yellow star are cleverly decorated on the walls, glass doors or shop signs.

According to Ms. Bui Huong (owner of a coffee shop on Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau District), decorating with the image of the red flag with a yellow star not only attracts the attention of tourists but also contributes to beautifying the city's appearance on the country's big holiday.

“Decorating the restaurant with many red flags with yellow stars is also a way for us to express our love for the country. At the same time, visitors coming here can also feel the national pride and solidarity of the Vietnamese people on this special occasion,” said Ms. Huong.
