The first time I met Mr. and Mrs. Lu Nhat Vu - Le Giang was in 1988, when I went with a group to collect Song Be folk songs in Thu Dau Mot City. This work trip achieved many good results.

I remember clearly his warm voice when he talked about the close relationship between him and my father, Mr. Phan Ngoc Lang, during the days he studied at Nguyen Trai School. At that time, my father was a music and French teacher.

Since then, I have had the opportunity to continue supporting him, because I know how to use Encore music transcription software. I was asked to type his newly composed songs. I did not dare to accept the payment, but musician Vo Dong Dien advised me to accept it, because otherwise, Mr. Lu Nhat Vu would feel guilty. I was also fortunate to help Mr. and Mrs. Lu Nhat Vu - Le Giang type hundreds of songs for their anthologies published in 2022 and 2023.

His music, like a gentle stream, has resounded throughout the country. Each of his compositions bears the mark of each period he experienced. Lu Nhat Vu, with his timeless works, has become an indelible musical monument in the hearts of those who love national music.
