Episode 2 of Thu Minh's Muse It show, featuring guest Truc Nhan, has just aired. The two Vietnamese showbiz artists didn't hesitate to playfully tease each other and share many interesting stories about their close teacher-student relationship.
To begin, Thu Minh gifted her student an embarrassing photo of the male singer from before he entered the entertainment industry. In response to the gift from his senior, Truc Nhan responded with a series of humorous remarks, such as: "Your career is almost as long as my actual age."
Truc Nhan and Thu Minh have had a close relationship for over 10 years.
During the conversation, Thu Minh explained in detail about her brainchild. Truc Nhan also expressed his admiration for the talented artist's determination and willingness to challenge herself.
When asked , "Have you ever wanted to give up on me?" , Thu Minh humorously replied, "Honestly, even if I wanted to, I couldn't."
Afterward, Truc Nhan fondly recalled his memories with Thu Minh. The male singer revealed that he had witnessed his senior colleague crying at his house three times. Truc Nhan also reminisced about the times they traveled to South Korea, Russia, Singapore, Thailand... and the time he helped her apply lip balm in the middle of the street in Singapore. Those are memories he will never forget.
Truc Nhan revealed that Thu Minh once cried at his house.
Notably, Truc Nhan revealed for the first time about the period when the two had conflicts.
“There were times when my ego kicked in. There were times when I disagreed with every opinion you had, I didn’t like anything you did, and there were moments of resentment… It wasn’t until the second year of the pandemic that we reconnected, but even then I still didn’t feel the bond between us had been re-established,” he recounted.
Thu Minh quickly dispelled the somber atmosphere by asserting that once she resolved all the unpleasant issues with Truc Nhan, she would forget about them immediately and not let the negativity linger. She would only remain silent for three days and then let things blow over. That's why their teacher-student relationship has lasted for over 10 years and remains strong to this day.
Responding to his senior colleague's comments, Truc Nhan emphasized that he never considered giving up on Thu Minh. He said, " Because I have great faith in my own ethics. She has been my mentor, and she will remain so for life."
