Pursuant to Decision No. 3444/QD-BCT dated December 31, 2023 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on approving the National Program on Trade Promotion in 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade assigned the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion of Binh Thuan province to coordinate with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Ninh Thuan province to organize the Vietnamese Goods Fair in the mountainous and island areas of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces.
According to the plan, the Program will have 4 markets, including 3 mountain markets and 1 island market. Each market will have 20-30 booths of 10-15 businesses providing goods...
In addition, the program has the meaning of linking trade promotion to create conditions for businesses to grasp the needs, tastes, customers, and consumers to serve the improvement, innovation of technology, improve product quality, improve designs suitable for the market in mountainous and island areas, and develop new products.

In particular, Vietnamese goods fairs are organized to continue implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the Prime Minister's Directive on strengthening the implementation of this campaign in the new situation. Through trade promotion links, it also creates conditions for businesses to grasp the needs and tastes of customers and consumers and aim to innovate technology, improve quality, improve designs, and develop new products suitable for the market in mountainous and island areas.
Regarding this content, Binh Thuan Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion has just announced and invited units, enterprises, and production and business cooperatives inside and outside the province to register to participate.
Specifically, the Vietnamese goods fair for mountainous areas in Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province will be held from August 28 to 30 in Phuoc Dai commune, Bac Ai district (Ninh Thuan). Next, the Vietnamese goods fair for mountainous areas in Ninh Son district will take place from September 4 to 6, 2024 in Lam Son commune, Ninh Son district (Ninh Thuan). Particularly in Binh Thuan, functional units will coordinate to organize the Vietnamese goods fair for islands in Phu Quy district (from September 10 to 12, 2024) and the Vietnamese goods fair for mountainous areas in Bac Binh district (from September 27 to 29, 2024).
Participants in the Vietnamese goods fair for mountainous and island areas are enterprises of all economic sectors, cooperatives, trade promotion organizations legally established in accordance with the law and other entities that are not supported financially. As required, goods for shopping at the fair must be of Vietnamese origin, fully labeled in accordance with the law and have clearly listed prices.
It is known that the items displayed at the fair are very diverse. In particular, the focus is on items that meet consumer needs: Food, food, sugar, cooking oil, fish sauce, soft drinks, fashion clothes, bedding, shoes, cosmetics, telecommunication services and some items serving agricultural and forestry production (machine tools serving agricultural production, fertilizers, plant varieties...).
In particular, to support participating businesses, the State will support 100% of the costs of advertising on newspapers and radio, transporting goods, premises and designing booths. Businesses are only responsible for paying for expenses incurred such as displaying, introducing goods, traveling, and accommodation.
On the other hand, participating enterprises must fully prepare means and goods to participate in sales and arrange and assign sales staff to serve the diverse needs of the people; organize the transportation of goods, prepare prices, shelves, loudspeakers, and propaganda banners of the unit.
