Students of Yen Bai College have had a "golden" opportunity to work abroad in Japan through a cooperation program with a 5-star nursing corporation, Care 21, from next year.

This afternoon (December 5), Bao Viet Trading Joint Stock Company organized the opening ceremony of the first free Japanese course for 24 students of Yen Bai College - launching the labor export program (Japanese market) within the cooperation plan between the Company and the school.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Thanh, representative of Bao Viet Labor Export Company (Hanoi), from 2024, the Japanese Government announced that it will accept 100,000 Vietnamese workers each year, and the Japanese market is in great need of skilled, qualified, and professionally trained workers.

Bao Viet Company, a reputable unit in the field of labor export, has signed a cooperation agreement with Care 21 Group (a 5-star Japanese nursing group) since 2024 to receive 500 nurses/year at low cost (total cost of 90 million VND/person). This cost will be refunded by the Japanese Government after the worker finishes the contract for 3-5 years, so the cost is essentially 0 VND. Workers receive a basic salary of 30-40 million VND/month (working 8 hours/day, 2 days off on weekends), and receive a bonus of 2-2.5 months' salary/year.

According to Bao Viet Company, workers can also increase their income from overtime work and take annual certification exams to have the opportunity to settle permanently in Japan.

Yen Bai College is the preferred choice for the program. Bao Viet Company will continuously open free language training classes in Yen Bai (each course lasts 6 - 8 months), while improving professional skills, legal knowledge and Japanese culture. Students can take the entrance exam on the spot without having to travel to Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony to congratulate the students, Mr. Dang Dinh Thang, Principal of Yen Bai College, said that working abroad is a very favorable path to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and this is a “golden” opportunity for nursing students - a huge demand in Japan today. Hopefully, the students will complete the course well, have jobs and high incomes from the program.

Talking to Dai Doan Ket reporter, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh, Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee, said that the province has issued a resolution and project on labor export, focusing on preferential support policies, creating great convenience (loans through policy banks with 0% interest rate, language learning is also sponsored for free)... Yen Bai province, with the determination of the entire political system, assigns targets to each locality and each training facility, striving to achieve the target of 1,500-2,000 people going to work abroad each year.

Excited and moved to speak on behalf of Yen Bai College students at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Kieu Nhung - a new student of Nursing College Class 24E said that the program by Bao Viet Company is creating opportunities for young people of this school to experience Japanese culture and earn income from jobs trained in the right major. "As a motivation to step into the future, to have a better life", student Nguyen Kieu Nhung expressed her belief.

According to the representative of Bao Viet Company, the labor export cooperation program with Care 21 Group when reaching 100 nurses/year from Yen Bai College, the Group will invest in 2 practice classrooms with modern equipment for the school so that students have the opportunity to study towards the labor export program.

The labor market in Japan is currently considered the best for young Vietnamese people, not only in terms of income but also the opportunity to extend visas for free for up to 10 years.
