Career opportunities for students at Russian Economic Week in Vietnam

From April 22-25, the Banking Academy in collaboration with member universities of the Russia - Vietnam Economic University Association organized "Russian Economic Week in Vietnam - A Marathon of Knowledge".

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh - Deputy Director in charge of the Banking Academy - said that the Russian Economic Week in Vietnam - A Marathon of Knowledge enhances connections, academic exchanges and expands cooperation opportunities ineducation and training between the two countries, as well as universities belonging to the Association of Russian - Vietnamese Economic Schools.

The two sides expect to further promote cooperation programs in the fields of training and scientific research, contributing to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

The seminar series was held during the Russian Economic Week in Vietnam.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Education and Training) - shared that educational and training cooperation between Vietnam and Russia is developing very well, comprehensively and effectively, with rich, substantive and diverse forms of cooperation.

Ms. Minh said that the parties need to coordinate in developing training programs for high-demand fields such as green transformation, digital transformation... in Vietnam and programs to improve professional qualifications for lecturers and students of the two countries; improve the qualifications of professors and lecturers of Russian and Vietnamese universities and exchange modern educational methods and technologies.

The two sides will study expanding the scale of student, lecturer and scientist exchanges within the network and outside; create conditions for joint scientific research projects; carry out activities to promote Russian and Vietnamese languages ​​and cultures; and be ready to call for investment from the Government, investors and businesses with capacity and potential to participate in the network's activities.

The series of seminars were organized around topics such as: Trade and economic cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam: Current status and development prospects; Digital transformation in the international financial market; Russia - Vietnam in the new energy and food market; Russia - Vietnam and global economic challenges: Opportunities and development prospects,...

Within the framework of the program, cultural exchange activities, visits to training facilities and historical sites in Hanoi aim to enhance the connection and mutual understanding between students, lecturers and participants.

Established in November 2024, the Russian-Vietnamese Association of Economic Universities includes 6 leading economic universities in Russia and 5 leading economic universities in Vietnam. The six universities of the Russian Federation include: Russian Financial University, Russian International Trade Academy, under the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Urals National Economic University, Saint Petersburg National Economic University, Rostov National Economic University.
