The little student overcame difficulties and was diligent.

Truc Ly was born into a farming family. Her father was disabled and could not do heavy work. His income was unstable. Aware of her family's difficulties, from a young age, Truc Ly made efforts to study, practice and be independent in life.

Every day, I prepare my own school bag and go to school. Truc Ly also always tries to help her mother with housework. She knows how to cook, wash dishes, sweep the floor... These tasks, though small, contain a lot of love and filial piety of a little girl for her parents.

Thanks to her efforts in studying, from grade 1 to grade 4, Truc Ly was an excellent student and continuously received scholarships from the Sunflower Mission Organization (USA) in coordination with the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations organized annually in Phu Yen.

Holding in her hand the more than 1 million VND scholarship she received from the Sunflower Mission Organization, Truc Ly burst into tears, because that amount of money was a huge amount for her family. This amount of money could help her mother buy more school supplies for her two sisters and buy medicine for her father.

Not only is Truc Ly good at studying, she also actively participates in competitions launched by the school and achieves high results. In particular, Truc Ly often helps weak students. As the class leader, she always urges her friends to seriously carry out class and school activities. Those actions represent her gratitude to her family, teachers, and school and are the motivation for her to continue to conquer the peak in the future.

When asked about her future dreams, Truc Ly's eyes lit up, her voice soft but full of determination: "My dream is to become a doctor in the future. I want to use my medical knowledge to help and care for the sick, especially those who are not as fortunate as my father."

Mr. Ngo Cong Thanh, the homeroom teacher of class 5E, spoke proudly about his excellent student: “Truc Ly is a good student, full of determination. Despite her unfavorable circumstances, she has never been late for school, never neglected her studies. She always has a serious attitude towards studying, is polite to teachers, and gets along well with friends. I believe that with such determination, she will achieve her dream in the future.”

Truc Ly’s story shows that, no matter the circumstances, if you have determination and faith, you can overcome any difficulty. A pure heart and strong will can do miracles. And that little student is the green shoot of hope in a life full of hardships.
