The Board of Directors of Ba Dinh Primary School, Bim Son Town (Thanh Hoa) has temporarily suspended teacher T. from teaching and transferred her to work as a clerk at the school after the incident of beating a student.
Ms. Vo Dao Hoa - Principal of Ba Dinh Primary School said that regarding the incident in which teacher VTT (homeroom teacher of class 1B) beat a student, causing bruises on her back, the school has initially taken a disciplinary action.
Accordingly, the school's Board of Directors agreed to temporarily suspend teacher T.'s teaching to conduct a review, and at the same time transfer her to work as a clerk at the school.
According to Ms. Hoa, in 2023, Ms. T. beat a student and was reported by the parent. After that, this parent submitted a request for Ms. T. to return to class, so the school continued to let Ms. T. teach.
“The school is waiting for the conclusion of the town police agency, to see the extent of the violation to decide the next action against Ms. T. For this to happen, part of the responsibility lies with the school, for not closely monitoring and thoroughly educating the teachers. The school has also held a collective meeting to review the experience to avoid similar incidents from happening again,” Ms. Hoa shared.
As VietNamNet reported earlier, on Friday morning (October 11), Ba Dinh Primary School (Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa) received the parents of student TPN (class 1B) about the incident in which student N. was beaten by the homeroom teacher VTT, causing scratches on her ear and bruises on her back.
Immediately after receiving the information, the school invited Ms. VTT to report the incident. According to Ms. T., because she saw the student bringing things to class to play during Math class, she could not control herself and used her hands to pinch the student's ears and pat his back and head.
