According to Mr. Bui Xuan Luong, Chairman of Van Phu Commune, Son Duong District, the incident where a teacher was cornered by a group of students, who threw sandals at her face, causing her to faint, happened in class 7C, Van Phu Secondary School. The female teacher in the video was teaching Music at the school.

"The issue comes from both sides. The music teacher has repeatedly made "market" and inappropriate statements when communicating with students. She was also recently warned by the school for this behavior," said Mr. Luong.

He admitted that the group of students from Van Phu Secondary School had previously disrespected her, and that day she had inappropriate behavior or statements, leading to the students' inappropriate protests.

The commune has invited authorities, Son Duong district police and parents of the students involved to the school to work on December 2.

Temporarily, the school punished the students by writing a self-criticism, because the teacher was absent from the meeting. Today, the commune and the school board will meet with the teacher to clarify the matter, and then come up with a solution, Mr. Luong added.

Last night (December 4), a video appeared on social media recording images of a group of students cornering a female teacher in the corner of the classroom, accompanied by curses. Meanwhile, the female teacher did not dare to resist but only used her phone to record.

A student in the class even rolled on the ground to "falsely accuse" the teacher of inappropriate behavior towards him, accompanied by swearing and laughter from many students.

After that, social networks continued to spread a video of more than 4 minutes related to this incident. This video recorded the scene of a female teacher being attacked by many students, even locking the door from the outside to prevent her from going out. A group also brazenly threw paper on the teacher's face and stuffed trash into her bag, making the female teacher uncomfortable.

In the chaos, several slippers were thrown at the female teacher. When the teacher picked up the slippers and asked who threw them, no one answered. Then, a slippers hit her on the forehead, making her dizzy for a few seconds before she passed out.

When the two videos were posted, many comments expressed outrage at the attitude of this group of students.
