Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 with the theme "Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of Colors", scheduled to be held in December 2024 in Da Lat city.
In the 10th time, the Da Lat Flower Festival will have 10 main programs, 12 response programs and many other programs. The 10 main programs will include the opening program held on December 6, 2024 at Lam Vien Square; the art program welcoming the new year 2025, combined with the closing ceremony of the Flower Festival held on December 31, 2024, also at the above location; organizing flower spaces from December 5, 2024 to January 5, 2025 in areas in Da Lat city.

In addition, the main program will include the International Conference "Da Lat develops green tourism and cultural industry from natural resources to biodiversity and local culture"; Art program: Bao Loc, Huong Tra - Sac To city welcomes the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival; Exhibition, introduction and trade promotion of OCOP products of Da Lat Flower Festival 2024; Wine - Tea - Coffee Street and Da Lat - Lam Dong specialties; Da Lat Vegetable - Flower Market, a miraculous crystallization from the good land; Da Lat - Chuncheon (Korea) international cultural and artistic exchange; Flower and Heritage Street Carnival (Flower car parade, flower fashion, street art).
The programs responding to the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival include the "Dalat Fun Color" Music Festival; "Bao Lam - Legend and Convergence" Festival (The 7th Cultural and Sports Festival of Ethnic Minorities in Lam Dong Province - Bao Lam 2024, Festival of performances and exhibitions of cultural characteristics of ethnic groups in Lam Dong Province); Korean Music Festival - Da Lat 2024; Lam Dong Trail 2024; Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival; Workshop on preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic groups in Di Linh district associated with tourism development; The 19th "Green-Clean-Beautiful" Contest; Music program "5AM Concert in Da Lat"; The 2nd Prenn Challenge Conquering Race "Prenn Trail Challenge 2024"; Exhibition "Brilliant colors of Da Lat flowers" to welcome the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024; Band Festival “Basalt Melody”; Tour, experience “Da Lat - Colorful flowers”.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee determined that the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 is a cultural and tourism event at the provincial level, aiming at national and international scale; is a cultural and tourism festival of Lam Dong province organized to promote the image of culture, people, and tourism of Da Lat-Lam Dong to domestic and international tourists; continue to affirm Da Lat city as the Flower Festival city of Vietnam, a creative city in the field of Music of UNESCO and a city in the "Group of 5 impressive Festival cities of Asia".
In the first 8 months of 2024, the number of tourists coming to Lam Dong is estimated to reach 6.8 million, an increase of 18.5% over the same period in 2023, reaching 70% of the 2024 plan. Therefore, the locality expects that the organization of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival will create momentum for the province's tourism industry to achieve the target of 9.7 million tourists in 2024, as well as spread the excitement to local people and tourists when coming to the city of thousands of flowers.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival must be innovative, creative, diverse, and flexible; the preparation must be thorough and create a difference compared to previous Flower Festivals, bringing about efficiency and impressive highlights. At the same time, leaving behind long-term works when the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 ends./.
