Hoang Minh Nguyet's (born 2001 - Thanh Hoa) love for the Law profession was ignited from social argumentative essays in high school. It was the analysis and discussion of social issues that made Nguyet interested in researching and solving problems with sharp, well-founded arguments.
In 2019, while her friends were struggling to choose a school and a career, Nguyet aimed for the sole goal of passing the entrance exam to Hanoi Law University.
With love and determination, the female student of Lam Son High School for the Gifted passed her first choice to enter the high-quality Law program at Hanoi Law University with 27 points in block D01 (Math, Literature, English).

Leaving Thanh Hoa, Nguyet hoped to quickly integrate into the vibrant life in the capital and her long-dreamed-of school. However, things did not go as smoothly as she had hoped, the female student encountered many difficulties from daily life to the typical local accent.
Despite the difficulties and pressure, Nguyet never stopped trying. She volunteered to be the class monitor, helping the teacher manage and run the class. Along with that, right from her first year of university, the female student actively participated in most of the school's movement activities.
"The amount of knowledge at Law School is quite heavy, plus the dense schedule of movement activities... but it doesn't make it difficult for me. I always learn how to regulate and arrange a scientific schedule, in which the key point is a high sense of discipline and a strong will with clear goals," the female student shared.
To achieve high academic results, in addition to her own efforts, Nguyet invited a few classmates to form a study group to discuss, research and share knowledge every day.
“Each person has their own approach and knowledge base. Actively discussing and proactively researching together in groups helps me exploit many interesting and easier-to-remember issues,” Nguyet shared about the secret to group study. For unclear issues, the group will discuss with teachers or seek help from people capable of providing satisfactory answers.
She maintained this unique group study method throughout her four years of college. From there, Nguyet had the opportunity to meet, study and work with talented and dedicated lawyers.

In addition, the Thanh Hoa female student also won many scholarships for students with excellent achievements such as the scholarship for encouraging learning sponsored by YKVN Law Firm (2021), the Globalized Era Scholarship sponsored by VILAF - Hong Duc Law Firm (Hanoi branch) (2022).
In July 2023, right after graduating as valedictorian from Hanoi Law University, Hoang Minh Nguyet was accepted to work at VILAF - Hong Duc Law Firm LLC (Hanoi branch).

According to Mr. Quang, to become a good lawyer, in addition to knowledge, soft skills, communication activities, movements and foreign languages are also very important. Nguyet has all the qualities to become a good lawyer in the future.
“Nguyet is quite dynamic and suitable for research and teaching work. I hope that in the future she will both accumulate more practical experience and continue her studies. I always believe that Nguyet will always complete her work well with constant effort and hard work,” said the teacher.
Sharing about her upcoming plans, the new valedictorian Hoang Minh Nguyet revealed her goal of soon completing the lawyer training course at the Judicial Academy and continuing her graduate studies to equip herself with more knowledge for her work.
