Dak Glei District Police (Kon Tum) has just issued a missing person notice for Le Ho Thanh Mai (18 years old, residing in Broong My village, Dak Mon commune, Dak Glei district, Kon Tum province).
Le Ho Thanh Mai left home in the middle of the night a week ago, and her family has been unable to contact her.
Previously, Dak Glei District Police received a report from Mr. Le Dinh Tuan (42 years old) that his daughter Le Ho Thanh Mai left home at around 11:30 p.m. on November 9 and has not returned yet.
Mai is about 1m78 tall, weighs about 60kg, has long black hair, wears black glasses, and speaks with a northern accent. When leaving home, Mai wore gray jeans, a black and white jacket, walked, and carried a black backpack and a gray helmet.
Mr. Le Dinh Tuan said that on the evening of November 9, Mai went to bed with her mother as usual. The next morning, the family could not find Mai, could not reach her by phone, and all of Mai's social media accounts were locked.
The family has searched many places and reported to the police, but so far there is still no information about Mai.
Mr. Tuan said that Mai dropped out of school in 10th grade to help her family with farming and take care of her younger siblings. Mai did not go out to play every day, lived a normal life, and had no conflicts with anyone.
Locally, Mai has few friends and no romantic relationships. Because her parents are busy working, Mai stays home to look after her younger siblings, so she often plays online games and makes friends with a group of people in Kien Giang.
"Up until now, my child has never left home and has never gone anywhere far, so I am very afraid of encountering bad people who will harm, lure or take him abroad," Mr. Tuan expressed his concern.
