Thanh Hoa Club introduces foreign player who once cost 60 billion VND

According to the latest V-League transfer information, Thanh Hoa Club has officially added the names of two foreign players Lucas Ribamar and center-back Igor Salatiel Silva to the list of players for the 2024/2025 National Cup.

Accordingly, Lucas Ribamar will replace the injured Rimario Gordon while Igor Salatiel will be added to replace the Korean player - Kim Won Sik. Both new players of Thanh Hoa Club are Brazilian players.

Igor Salatiel was born in 2000, is 1m90 tall, and last season played in Kuwait for Al Jahra Club. Meanwhile, Lucas Ribamar was born in 1997, and has played many times in the Brazilian National Championship. In 2016, he made the German club 1860 Munich spend up to 2.5 million Euros (about more than 60 billion VND at that time) to recruit him from Botafogo.

For now, Lucas Ribamar and Igor Salatiel will be eligible to play in the National Cup. Meanwhile, in the V-League arena, this duo will have to wait until the next registration deadline to play.

According to the match schedule, Thanh Hoa Club is exempted from participating in the National Cup qualifying round because it is the defending champion of the tournament.
