March 12 is the time when the V-League organizing committee closes the registration list for the second leg of the 2024-2025 season.

On the afternoon of March 13, Nam Dinh Club announced that it had officially recruited Vietnamese-American defender Kevin Pham Ba, who is playing in the French 4th Division for Marignane Gignac FC. Since the beginning of the 2024-2025 season, Kevin has played a total of 12 times for this team.

Kevin Pham Ba is 1.81m tall, born in 1994 in France, and has a Vietnamese grandfather. He played for 10 years in the French 3rd, 4th and 5th divisions, with a total of 163 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 13 assists.

According to statistics from transfermarkt, in addition to the positions of center back and right back, Kevin also played many times in the position of right winger - 22 times, and had 7 assists. Therefore, this could be the position that will replace To Van Vu who suffered a ligament injury.

Besides Kevin Pham Ba, Nam Dinh Club has also finalized its foreign players. Two strikers Brenner and Romulo have been registered to replace Lucas Da Silva and midfielder Hendrio.

It is known that the coaching staff of the team from Thanh Nam wants to build a more direct and fast attacking style of play, so they did not register Hendrio - a key player and major contributor (10 goals, 13 assists) in the team's V-League championship last season. The Brazilian midfielder is expected to continue to stay and train with the team.

The foreign players of the team from Thanh Nam currently include: versatile player Joseph Mpande, central defender Lucas Alves, midfielder Caio, Romulo and striker Brenner. The foreign player of Vietnamese origin is Kevin Pham Ba.

In the domestic squad, Nam Dinh Club successfully recruited Lam Ti Phong from Thanh Hoa Club. The team said goodbye to midfielder Pham Duc Huy (transferred to Quy Nhon Binh Dinh), and central defender Hoang Van Khanh (returned to Song Lam Nghe An).

After 16 rounds of V-League 2024 - 2025, Nam Dinh Club is leading with 31 points, keeping a gap of 3 points from the team right behind, The Cong - Viettel, and 4 points from the team ranked 3rd, Hanoi Club.
