Speaking at the meeting, Director of Hanoi City Police, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung congratulated and praised the impressive achievements that Hanoi Police Club has achieved in recent times, especially reaching the semi-finals of the Southeast Asian Cup 1 and the semi-finals of the National Cup this season.

Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung said that General Secretary To Lam and Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang regularly follow the matches, always pay special attention and have high expectations for the Hanoi Police Club. This is a great encouragement for the leadership and members of the team.

According to him, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Hanoi City Police always closely monitor and clearly identify: The management and operation of the Hanoi Police Club's competitions is one of the important political tasks that the City Police is entrusted with by the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security. This is not only a simple sports activity, but also a part of the work of building the image, demonstrating the bravery, culture and sense of responsibility of the police force in the new era.

In the spirit of continuing to promote the glorious tradition, the Director of Hanoi City Police assigned the club the following tasks: Strive to be in the top 3 of V-League 2024-2025; win the National Cup, and especially in the immediate future, win against PSM Makassar Club (Indonesia) in the second leg of the Southeast Asian Cup C1 semi-final at Hang Day Stadium on April 30.

In addition to the professional goals for the team, the City Police Director also assigned tasks to officers and soldiers who are directly involved in management, operation and support activities at the club, because this is the core force, playing the role of a bridge between the political tasks of the Capital Police force and the professional development of sports.
