At the end of the 2023-2024 season, CAHN Club only ranked 6th with 37 points. This is considered a rather disappointing season for the police team because they often lose points in important matches.
Currently, Coach Polking has let his players leave camp after the last match of V-League 2023 - 2024. The whole team will have a 3-week break before returning to prepare for the new season. The first tournament of CAHN Club after the break will be the 2024 - 2025 Southeast Asian Club Championship. In the first match, Quang Hai and his teammates will welcome Buriram United Club (Thailand) at home on August 22.
In order to prepare the team for the 2024-2025 season, the leaders of CAHN Club and Coach Polking had a meeting. Accordingly, for players whose contracts have expired like Quang Hai, the team leaders will extend the contracts with players in the plan, in accordance with the playing style that Coach Polking has built.
Quang Hai will still stay at CAHN Club
In the past, the German-Brazilian strategist has also experimented by giving opportunities to many young players in all lines. Therefore, in the upcoming season, he will continue to put his trust in potential players. This is also in the development direction of CAHN Club to build a quality next generation of players for the team as well as aiming for a team with depth and its own identity.
CAHN Club is expected to "change blood" in terms of personnel.
Coach Polking had a meeting with the CAHN club's board of directors to talk about plans for next season.
Regarding new recruits, the leaders of CAHN Club have had time to monitor and work with some prominent faces of Vietnamese football in the recent past. Accordingly, these quality contracts will be signed after the parties agree on the terms. The presence of new recruits is expected to help CAHN Club aim for a successful new season and achieve high results.
