Warm back to school season

Kong Chro is a district in the east of Gia Lai province, home to the Ba Na ethnic community. Most of the children here are studying at An Trung Primary and Secondary School, including the Bien village school which was built more than 30 years ago. Currently, the school's facilities have deteriorated. The Bien village school is on the list of schools that need to be renovated according to the commune's national target programs, but the roadmap will not be completed until 2027.

Home Credit Vietnam strives to bring a safer and more spacious learning space through the project “New clothes - Happy to go to school”. This is the opening activity for the 4th year of Home Love bus trip, marking the cooperation with Hope Fund in upgrading school facilities.

In this project, the Home Credit team joined hands to repaint and redecorate the classrooms, replace tables and chairs, and facilities, as well as build a new playground for the students. Now, the Bien village school has put on a new “coat”, which is more solid, spacious, lively, and filled with warmth and love, giving the children an exciting learning space.

At the handover ceremony of the classroom repair and renovation project, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - specialist of the Departmentof Education and Training of Kong Chro district expressed: "This school was very dilapidated 2 months ago, but after a period of renovation, it has become spacious and clean. This achievement comes from the attention of the Hope Fund and Home Credit company".

Now, with the contribution of Home Credit Vietnam and Hope Fund, Bien village school promises to become a “second home” for children, so that they have more motivation to study, develop and become useful citizens in the future…

Building a sustainable life for the community and customers is also a goal in one of the 6 pillars of the sustainable development strategy that Home Credit has pursued over the years.

The long journey of love

2024 is the 4th consecutive year that the Home Love bus has extended its journey of love, spreading joy and hope to all parts of the country. This year, the bus will not only stop in Gia Lai but will continue to roll to the next school in Nghe An; after the success in Yen Bai, Hue, Cam Ranh, Bac Lieu ...

“Home Love is a testament to our continuous efforts to improve the learning and development conditions of children in disadvantaged areas. With this annual project, Home Credit affirms its commitment to accompany the community, towards a bright and sustainable future for children,” said Mr. Jakub Kudrna - Business Strategy Director and Chairman of ESG Steering Committee at Home Credit Vietnam.

To continue the mission of sharing love, Home Credit will contribute 100,000 VND to the "Home Love Trip" program for each loan contract successfully completed during the back-to-school promotion program (taking place from September 10 to September 30, or until reaching the donation level of 200 million VND).

Recently, Home Credit Vietnam staff donated more than 3 billion VND to support people in the North to overcome the consequences of storms and floods. This fund will be used to carry out activities such as: supporting people to repair their houses, buy necessary necessities to stabilize their lives; cooperating with the Hope Fund to rebuild schools, dykes, and embankments to make schools safe; providing books, school supplies, and clothes for students in areas affected by natural disasters...

Home Credit is also implementing a series of practical support programs for customers, typically the "Financial Sharing Loan Package" exclusively for customers in provinces and cities affected by the storm.
