The four announcers of Vietnam Television who were awarded the title of Meritorious Artist were all famous voices of the time: Kim Tien, Manh Tuong, Minh Tri, Thanh Hung.

At that time, there was no satellite to watch TV from other countries. I just thought that if I wanted to be loved by the audience, I had to be the audience. If I like something, do it for the audience", Meritorious Artist Kim Tien shared.

In 2001, Meritorious Artist Kim Tien stopped being the host of the Live News program. In 2002, she retired but still opened broadcasting and editing classes for the younger generations.

Meritorious Artist Thanh Hung has worked at VTV since 1979. He was also one of the golden generation of MCs of the station in the early days of broadcasting. Meritorious Artist Thanh Hung is remembered for his clear, slow, and confident reading voice along with his neat image when on air.

Meritorious Artist Minh Tri's full name is Nguyen Minh Tri, born in 1945. Before becoming a broadcaster, he had many other jobs such as construction worker, teacher, and auditioning for film actors. In 1971, he auditioned to become a broadcaster for Vietnam Television.
