Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's busy schedule

To ensure absolute security and safety for Party and State leaders, the Ministry of Public Security's Guard Command has organized a pre-emptive mission, from which a plan has been developed, forces and means have been gathered, and the security plan has been prepared to be deployed in any weather conditions.

Specialized equipment, tools, and necessary supplies when performing tasks such as life jackets, boots, raincoats, ropes, chainsaws, etc. are fully equipped by the Command for security officers.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Khoa, Deputy Head of the Logistics Department, with the terrain conditions of flooding, mud, etc., the unit must choose specialized vehicles with superior features, and at the same time select officers with a lot of experience traveling on mountainous roads in rainy, flooded, landslide-prone weather conditions and with the ability to predict possible situations to participate in the working groups.

“The 18km stretch of road is extremely dangerous with 30 landslides and many other landslide-prone areas. The security forces coordinated with the local police, army, and militia to clear the road and put up signs at dangerous locations to warn the Prime Minister’s motorcade.
