Changing the purpose of using planted forests to implement some projects

Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee decided to change the purpose of forest use to another purpose with a total area of ​​8.9029 hectares. This is the area of ​​planted forest, belonging to the production forest type in lots 9, compartment 2, sub-compartment 806T; lots 7, 9, 24, 26, compartment 2, lots 5, 8, compartment 7, sub-compartment 817, Trieu Thuong commune, Trieu Phong district.

Previously, on April 18, the Provincial People's Committee also decided to change the purpose of forest use to implement the Emergency Project to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and ensure traffic safety step 1 on National Highway 15D and National Highway 49C through Quang Tri province (due to the impact of storms No. 4 and No. 5 and the flood from October 12 to October 16, 2022) with a total planted forest area of ​​1.0575 hectares, belonging to the production forest type in A Ngo commune, Dakrong district.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies and localities to closely inspect and monitor the conversion of forest use purposes to other purposes, ensuring the correct scope and boundary of the forest area converted to other purposes.

At the same time, review and advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement land procedures and processes to ensure the principle of unity and synchronization to implement the project in accordance with regulations. In the process of organizing the implementation of the above projects, the People's Committees of Trieu Phong and Dakrong districts direct relevant units to carry out compensation and site clearance; closely inspect and supervise the implementation of forest use conversion to implement these projects in accordance with the provisions of law.
