The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place from June 27th to 29th. June 27th and 28th will be the exam days for candidates; June 29th is a reserve day.

Although parents and candidates had prepared thoroughly for the exam, some awkward situations still occurred during the two official exam days.

Many candidates overslept and missed their exams, such as at the Son Thinh High School exam center ( Yen Bai province) on the morning of July 26th. Due to studying the day before and having a stomachache that prevented him from going to bed until 3 am, candidate Nguyen Tien A. (residing in Son Thinh commune, Van Chan district) overslept. The Traffic Police team of Van Chan district police assisted in transporting A. to the exam center using a specialized police vehicle.

In Ha Giang province, on the afternoon of June 27th, just before the math exam, student Dang Thanh H. (born in 2006) overslept and missed the exam. There were only about 10 minutes left. Police from Yen Phu town and traffic police from Bac Me district quickly went to her house to wake her up and brought her to the exam site on time as scheduled.

In addition, there were many cases of candidates having vehicle breakdowns or forgetting their exam documents. Specifically, on the afternoon of June 27th, a mobile patrol team from the Traffic Police Department of Thanh Son District, Phu Tho Province, led by Captain Bui Quoc Hoang, was patrolling National Highway 32 in Thanh Son town when they discovered Pham Quang H. (born in 2006, residing in Dich Qua commune) and his family stopped by the roadside trying to repair their vehicle.

The patrol team went to inquire and were informed by H.'s family that the motorbike had a flat tire while they were taking the candidate to the exam at Thanh Son High School. Since it was almost time for the exam and it was raining heavily, the patrol team contacted a nearby resident to leave the broken motorbike at their house and transported the candidate to the exam site using a specialized vehicle.

Meanwhile, in Krông Búk district, Đắk Lắk province, a student discovered they had forgotten their documents upon arriving at the high school graduation exam site. The Traffic Police Team of Krông Búk District Police immediately drove them home to retrieve their papers.

Noticing the anxiety of candidate H'Ngát N., the traffic police officers of Krông Búk District Police, who were on duty at the Phan Đăng Lưu High School examination site, proactively showed concern, inquired about her well-being, and learned that H'Ngát N. had forgotten to bring her documents.

The traffic police team immediately used their patrol vehicle to take the candidate home to retrieve their documents. With the help of the traffic police, the candidate returned to the examination site on time.

The image of a father dressed in black with a white scarf accompanying his son to the high school graduation exam is deeply moving . Having passed away just a week ago, Mr. Dung suppressed his grief and took his son to the high school graduation exam.
