More than 60% of businesses recognize the importance of digital transformation
According to a report by the Ministry of Information and Communications in 2023, about 60-70% of Vietnamese enterprises have realized the importance of digital transformation and begun to implement basic steps.
However, only about 20-30% of businesses actually successfully apply comprehensive digital transformation solutions.
Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation shows that digital transformation and application of science and technology are the top and most important priorities of Vietnam in the coming time.

Target by 2030: "Research and development (R&D) spending reaches 2% of GDP, of which social spending accounts for more than 60%; allocate at least 3% of total annual budget expenditure for science, technology development, innovation, national digital transformation and gradually increase according to development requirements".
In that context, Can Tho City People's Committee, V&V Corporation - Vitranet24, GNC Corporation, Chubb Life Insurance Group Vietnam jointly organized a business forum: "Superior welfare - Elevating businesses. Digital transformation and sustainable business development according to Resolution 57 - NQ/TW".
The forum was held on the morning of February 22 in Can Tho city, with the goal of providing solutions for sustainable business development based on employee welfare policies that ensure life security, reduce financial worries to help businesses retain talent, combined with effective digital transformation solutions and security technology.
Thereby, helping businesses in Can Tho gradually stand firm and develop strongly in the digital age.
3 stages of digital transformation implementation
The forum was attended by leading experts in the field of insurance and social security from GNC Corporation, Chubb Life Vietnam Group and leading digital transformation experts from V&V Corporation - Vitranet24, with more than 18 years of research on digital transformation solutions in the Vietnamese market and the Asian region.
Experts and businesses have clarified and approached the "overview digital transformation model" to provide indispensable survival indicators for each organization in the digital environment.
At the same time, experts also advise on implementation plans and a roadmap to help ensure successful implementation at the lowest cost for businesses.
Within the framework of the forum, the roadmap for digital transformation implementation was mentioned to include three phases:
- Phase 1: Build an independent database that does not depend on the IT team and build a digital working environment that enhances centralized power.
- Phase 2: Upgrade and process at a higher level, automation.
- Phase 3: Apply AI and augmented reality to bring businesses completely to a high-level digital environment.
The forum focuses mainly on consulting on the implementation of phase 1: "Building an independent database and building a digital working environment". This phase ensures businesses the following extremely different benefits:
- Own an independent data center owned by the business leader, ensuring security, development capabilities, and storage without depending on the IT department, returning data ownership to the business.
- Own a digital working environment, increase working speed and communication by 30-40% with independent management functions with important accounting reports, especially a set of nearly 20 indicators that clearly show the performance and current status of the business.
- Applying an advanced and "extremely different" technology platform with data independence, security and unlimited upgradeability to save time, effort and cost.
At the forum, businesses in Can Tho city also have the opportunity to receive support policies from V&V Corporation and GNC Corporation.
Support includes: 30% reduction in technology platform application costs in the first year, preferential treatment for most initial implementation costs, and one year of free use of dynamic interactive web technology to support businesses in selling and introducing products online.
