The delegation offered wreaths in memory of the heroic martyrs.

Sharing his thoughts about the trip, Major Pham Duc Chinh, an outstanding member of the Political Academy, said: "Participating in this journey to the source, I had many meaningful experiences. I have read books, newspapers, and movies, but when I went directly to the places, I truly understood the value of a peaceful life today. This journey to the source is not just a visit but also a profound lesson about history and patriotism. The martyrs' graves under the green pine forest or the traces of bombs and bullets still on the walls of the ancient citadel... seem to engrave more deeply in our minds the noble sacrifice of our fathers and brothers. Their heroic spirit, courage and sacrifice made us extremely grateful and admiring. For me personally, this is not just a trip but also a journey of discovery. After the trip, I felt that besides the historical values, there is a connection between the past and the present. This is also the motivation that urges me to strive to contribute." more in studying, working and scientific research. Hopefully, in the future I will be able to participate in more such trips."

Major Do Thi Vuong Quynh, Legal Assistant, Office of the Political Academy, confided: “Setting foot on the historic land of Quang Tri, which endured the bombs and bullets of the enemy during the resistance war against the US to save the country, I could not hold back my tears. Especially when walking on the road leading to the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery, the resting place of more than 10,000 heroes and martyrs when the sun had set. To have the peace of the villages on the road leading to the Cemetery that we safely passed through, it was the sweat and blood of Uncle Ho's soldiers.”
