"The participation of the head of the Vietnamese Government at the BRICS Summit with the theme "Building a better future together" is a strong affirmation of Vietnam's proactive, positive and responsible spirit in solving common problems of humanity," Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang emphasized. Along with participating and actively contributing to the United Nations, ASEAN, APEC, G7, G20 mechanisms... and many global economic cooperation and linkage initiatives, attending the BRICS Summit is a testament to Vietnam's commitment and responsibility to accompany countries in the international community. In the conference program, discussions with major economies and new economies to contribute to building a better world continue to affirm Vietnam's position, role and stature in human development issues. At the same time, it conveys the image of a peaceful, cooperative, developing, dynamic, innovative Vietnam, building an independent, self-reliant economy associated with deep and effective international integration, and mobilizing external resources to serve national development. Through attending the conference, Vietnam will continue to promote and deepen cooperative relations with Russia and other countries. For Russia, this is Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's first working trip, taking place at a time when the two countries are looking forward to celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025. Along with high-level visits between the two countries in recent times, the Prime Minister's working trip continues to affirm the loyal friendship between Vietnam and Russia, commensurate with the Vietnam - Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Contributing to creating momentum for bilateral cooperation, promoting and opening up opportunities for substantive and effective cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister is also expected to have many bilateral meetings with leaders of the countries attending the conference. This is also an important opportunity to continue promoting bilateral relations in many fields as well as enhancing coordination at multilateral forums.
