The train barrier was closed but the truck driver still tried to cross it, damaging the train barrier system.

When moving to the intersection of the residential road and the North-South railway in Thuy Phuong ward (Huong Thuy town, Hue city), Huynh Van Quang intentionally crossed the level crossing barrier when the barrier was moving to close the road and there was a red light and alarm signal.

Truck 75H-030.93 then collided with the level crossing barrier, bending one barrier and breaking another. The resulting damage included two railway barriers worth over 10 million VND.

Considering that the incident has signs of the crime of intentional damage to property as prescribed in Article 178 of the Penal Code, the Traffic Police Department of Hue City Police has transferred the case file to the Investigation Police Agency of the City Police for handling according to its authority.
