Traditional cultural program "Bringing Vietnamese soul to Russian heart"

The outstanding cultural features of Vietnam and Russia were interwoven in the traditional program of Vietnam Day that recently took place at the Russian Financial University, as the name of the program "Vietnamese soul in the heart of Russia: Deeply traditional."

Welcoming the special program of 165 Vietnamese students at the Russian Financial University, Rector Stanislav Prokofiev, through a video recording, emphasized that the event took place in a year with many milestones: 80 years of victory over fascism and 50 years of national reunification, 75 years of Russia-Vietnam diplomatic relations, especially the 80th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam.

All these events go hand in hand with friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Cooperation in the field of training between the Russian Financial University and Vietnam has also developed for more than 70 years, nearly 5,000 Vietnamese financial experts have grown up from this school.

Vietnamese culture is increasingly widely known, loved and attracts international friends at the Academy.

Mr. Prokofiev said that now it can be said that the Vietnamese soul is in the Russian heart and vice versa, the Russian soul is in the Vietnamese heart, because Vietnam and Russia are so close to each other.

The Vietnam Day program was built in that spirit, with the participation of Russian students.

The Vietnamese-Russian performances followed each other like a type of antiphonal singing commonly seen in many regions of Vietnam, Quan Ho singing for the song about the Codac ethnic group, Bac Bling dance (Bac Ninh) for the traditional Russian dance.

Other traditional cultural features are also built in interactions with international friends, traditional costumes, folk games, customs. Vietnam becomes easier to understand, closer and more interesting.

Along with the art program, the content of experiencing traditional professions, introducing cuisine and art products helped Russian friends have the opportunity to better understand the Vietnamese national soul, long-standing traditions and achievements in the new era.

And the Vietnam Day event is not only a cultural introduction program, but also a friendship bridge of special significance in the 2025 anniversary year./.
