On the evening of September 21, the program “Autumn Moon on the Border” came to poor children in Phu Quy island district, Binh Thuan province. This is an annual program (season 3) implemented by the Military Radio and Television Center in coordination with the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, Military Region 7 Command, Border Guard Command, etc.

The 2023 "Autumn Moon Festival on the Border" allowed children in Phu Quy island district, Binh Thuan province to immerse themselves in a traditional space, watch art performances, circus, magic, lion dance, carry star lanterns, enjoy feasts and receive gifts.

Representatives of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command and Military Region 7 Command presented gifts to children at the Program.

At the 2023 "Autumn Moon at the Border" program, the units and many sponsors presented gifts and scholarships with a total value of nearly 1 billion VND. Of which, the "Scholarship for Learning" was awarded to two students Pham Van Cuong and Pham Dieu Truc Tho who are in difficult circumstances, have the will and determination to overcome fate, and achieve high academic achievements. Each scholarship includes accommodation and food support during high school until university (if they maintain good academic performance) and support for job referrals after graduating from university. The total sponsorship cost for the two students during high school is 700,000,000 VND.

Awarded 10 scholarships to 10 students with high academic achievements (each worth 1 million VND). Presented 1,500 gifts from Hong Ha Stationery, 2,000 gifts from Vinahe, 1,000 backpacks; 100 school bags; 1,000 gifts from KIDO; 500 gifts of Calokid milk; 400 story books to students...

Receiving the "Scholarship for Learning" from the Warm Love Charity Club founded by Saigon Construction Corporation (SCC) and sponsored by Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City, Pham Dieu Truc Tho, a 12th grader at Ngo Quyen High School, Phu Quy District, Binh Thuan Province, was moved: "This is truly a very meaningful gift for me and my family. The scholarship will help me have more opportunities to continue my studies. I thank the Program and the sponsors very much for this meaningful gift."

Pham Dieu Truc Tho has been an excellent student for 11 consecutive years. Her family's circumstances are difficult. Her father passed away when Tho was 4 years old. Her mother works as a seamstress alone, with an unstable income to support her 3 siblings' education.

Also at the festival, the 2023 "Autumn Moon on the Border" Program coordinated with the "Frontier National Flag" Program of the Lao Dong Newspaper to present 2,000 national flags to the Border Guard of Binh Thuan province so that the national flag is present in the border area, so that love for the Fatherland spreads in millions of hearts of Vietnamese people.
