In which, the program "Coconut Hometown Gratitude - Aspiration to Reach Far", organized by 3 units: Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Liaison Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre Fellow Countrymen Journalists Club in Ho Chi Minh City, through the first organization in 2024, achieved many positive results, spreading the Ben Tre fellow countrymen's love.
Provincial leaders awarded certificates of merit to groups, individuals and businesses sponsoring the program.
Funds raised through the program from corporate sponsorship sources are used for social security programs for Ben Tre such as: supporting studious students who overcome difficulties, building and repairing houses of gratitude and love for families with preferential policies and single parents in difficult circumstances, organizing medical examinations, providing free medicine and gifts to the poor, building and repairing bridges and rural roads, etc.
Representatives of the Ben Tre Communities Liaison Committee in Ho Chi Minh City presented symbolic boards of funding to Ben Tre units.
At this year's program, the organizing committee received a symbolic board of sponsorships from businesses and presented a symbolic board of 12 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province and a symbolic board of 10 billion VND to the People's Committee of Giong Trom district to carry out activities, social security work, and build rural traffic bridges in the area.
