The program 'Weekend Meeting' will return to VTV from March 2025

(CLO) The program "Weekend Meeting" has just completed the first recording session and will be broadcast on VTV from March 2025.


Meet at the Weekend - VTV's hit comedy show in the early 2000s, has become an unforgettable memory in the hearts of generations of television viewers. After 19 years, the show will return to the audience at 8:00 p.m. every Saturday on VTV3, starting from March 1, 2025.

To bring back the famous program from nearly 2 decades ago, the crew of the Vietnam Television Film Center (VFC), Vietnam Television Station has researched, built the format, and carefully prepared for Meet at the Weekend to both maintain the inherent satirical and humorous spirit, and innovate to be closer to today's audience.

Sharing about this, Mr. Khai Anh - Deputy Director of Vietnam Television Film Center (VFC), director of this project said: "We do not want to just remake a nostalgic program, but to bring a new and attractive Weekend Meeting to today's audience".

With a duration of about 60 minutes per episode, in addition to comedy skits, Meet at the Weekend 2025 also has a new form of expression with authentic content from life, revolving around current issues that are juggled gracefully and humorously...

In particular, in Meet at the Weekend 2025, the audience will have the opportunity to meet again artists associated with the program such as People's Artist Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Quoc Thang, Van Dung Huong Tuoi... Along with that, young artists Trung Ruoi, Duy Nam, Dung Hon, Thai Son, Thai Duong... promise to bring new colors to this year's program.
