Chuong My: Resolutely handle violations of fire prevention and fighting regulations

This was the information at the conference to review the work of the first quarter of 2025, deploying a peak campaign to propagate and guide safety in fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue organized by the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) on the morning of April 11 in Chuong My district. The conference was attended by nearly 100 delegates who are leaders of the People's Committee, the Commune and Town Police in charge of fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and rescue.

In the first quarter summary report of 2025, Major Ta Quang Duc, Deputy Head of the Staff Team (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police), in charge of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Chuong My District, emphasized that in recent times, the Chuong My District Police force has paid special attention to the propaganda and dissemination of legal knowledge on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue in enterprises and residential areas; paid attention to building the movement "All people prevent and fight fires" associated with the movement "All people protect national security". Currently, in Chuong My District, there are 207 civil defense teams with 2,136 people; 507 grassroots fire prevention and fire fighting teams with 5,270 people; 1 professional fire prevention and fire fighting team with 15 people. These forces are all equipped with means, trained and coached in fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue.

Along with the above task, the Chuong My District Police force has increased inspections, drawn up 964 records, and issued decisions to fine 13 cases of violations of regulations on fire prevention, fighting, rescue, and relief with a total fine of 61.5 million VND...

In their speeches at the conference, delegates clarified the results achieved, pointed out some limitations and difficulties, and proposed many solutions to improve the effectiveness of fire prevention, fighting, rescue and relief work in the area.

Assessing that the area still has many potential risks of fire, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Hong Linh, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) requested the police of communes and towns of Chuong My district to focus on implementing 10 key tasks in the coming time; including carrying out a peak period of propaganda, guidance on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue for facilities and residential areas in the area from April 15 to June 30, 2025.

The police of communes and towns perform well the responsibility of state management of facilities under the management of fire prevention and fighting, guide, inspect, strictly and thoroughly handle violations as well as guide violating facilities to overcome existing problems in fire prevention and fighting.
