Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to businesses in Dung Quat Economic Zone such as Hoa Phat - Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company and Doosan Enerbility Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Doosan Vina), Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh was pleased with the results and achievements that the businesses have achieved, maintaining growth momentum and increasingly expanding their scale of operations.

Reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister, Director of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company Mai Van Ha said that Hoa Phat is one of the investors and strategic partners of Quang Ngai. The project has a total investment capital of about 180,000 billion VND.

The focus is on the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex Project and the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex Project, with a total investment of more than 171,000 billion VND. When completed, the Group's steel production capacity will reach 14 million tons/year.

Over the years, the company has successfully implemented its development and social security goals, creating jobs for local workers. Through that, it has built many schools and charity houses, joining hands with Quang Ngai to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, it has created jobs for nearly 19 thousand workers.

2024. Doosan Vina has completed hundreds of projects with a total order value of more than 3 billion USD. Doosan Vina's "Made in Vietnam" products are operating in 38 countries worldwide.

Also this morning, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and his delegation visited and wished a Happy New Year to the family of war invalid Nguyen Anh Duong (born in 1948) in Binh Hoa commune, Binh Son district and families with revolutionary contributions in Binh Son district.

At the places he visited, the Deputy Prime Minister sent his warm regards and wished the families to strive to improve their lives and be an example of patriotism for the younger generation.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh highly appreciated the results achieved by enterprises in the past year. At the same time, he hoped that the heads of enterprises would continue to promote their potential and advantages to expand production and business activities, creating more jobs for local workers. Thereby, creating momentum for Quang Ngai to develop further.

On the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister sent best wishes to the leaders, officers and employees of enterprises and presented gifts to encourage and boost their spirit.

Also during his visit, work and New Year greetings in Quang Ngai, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh came to celebrate and present gifts to workers and laborers working at factories and enterprises in the province and people in difficult circumstances at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng 2025" organized by the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nhan, Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor, said that in recent years, Quang Ngai has created many jobs and the workforce has increased rapidly. Currently, there are more than 105,000 union members.

Last year, under the leadership of Party committees at all levels and higher-level trade unions, and the coordination of the government, agencies, and enterprises, trade unions at all levels in the province proactively and creatively competed to carry out their tasks and achieved many results.

"Tet Sum Vay is held on the occasion of preparing for the traditional New Year, is a central activity in caring for union members and workers, with the wish to start a good new year.

After more than 10 years of implementation, the program has created a positive effect, accompanied by all levels, sectors, and businesses, becoming a meeting place for many union members every spring. Not only at today's program, up to now, the provincial trade unions at all levels have planned to give Tet gifts to over 102,000 union members, with a total budget of about 70 billion VND and many meaningful and joyful activities," said Mr. Nhan.

At the program, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh expressed his joy at the support of the business community and mass organizations joining hands to take care of Tet for the poor, the disadvantaged, people with revolutionary contributions and workers so that all people can celebrate the traditional Tet holiday together and in warmth.

"I applaud the province for dedicating a large amount of resources to take care of our people during Tet. We have about 39,000 policy beneficiaries, and the resources to take care of them are very large.

I also hope that you, the workers, laborers... have a happy, peaceful, and safe Tet with your families," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

On this occasion, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presented 3,000 gifts to workers, civil servants and laborers with a total value of 1.9 billion VND.

In addition, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation provided support for the construction of 35 new "Union Shelters"; presented 1,200 gifts and 5,500 free shopping vouchers to employees to buy products at this year's "Union Tet Market" with a value of more than 3.5 billion VND.
