ANTD.VN - After 4 sessions of strong growth, the stock market has adjusted again today. It is worth noting that the "Apec" stocks today suddenly made waves, increasing to the ceiling.

After just 4 consecutive trading sessions, VN-Index has increased by nearly 60 points and cash flow into the market has also been more positive.

However, by today's trading session, selling pressure was present, which is not surprising in the market after a series of strong increases. However, most investors, especially those holding large stocks, still have no intention of taking profits. This makes trading in the market quite sluggish, both points and liquidity do not break out.

Some blue chips such as TCB and VRE increased quite well, VRE increased by 5.3% at the end of the morning session, the matched volume also led the HOSE floor. Many banking, securities, and real estate codes also attracted cash flow.

However, the HOSE floor was still leaning towards red with only 164 stocks increasing, while 228 stocks decreased. Meanwhile, the HNX-Index decreased by 0.28 points (-0.12%), down to 238.13 points. The UPCoM-Index decreased by 0.04 points (-0.05%), down to 94.44 points.

In the afternoon session, the situation was not more positive. VN-Index could not maintain the reference when many large stocks narrowed their growth. At the end of the session, the VN30 basket had only 12 stocks increasing, while 14 stocks decreased and 4 stocks remained unchanged.

VRE narrowed its increase to 4.2%, the most active trading on HOSE with more than 17 million units matched; SSB also increased by 4.8% today.

Notably, in the group of small stocks, a series of "Apec family" stocks suddenly made waves. Two codes API of Asia- Pacific Investment and IDJ of IDJ Vietnam Investment both increased to the ceiling. Meanwhile, APS of Asia-Pacific Securities also increased by 8.45, almost reaching the ceiling.

Not only that, trading of this group of stocks is also active, ranking among the top on the HNX floor with millions of units matched.

This is a group of stocks that have been manipulated, continuously increasing dozens of times. At the end of June 2023, Mr. Nguyen Do Lang - General Director of APS and his accomplices were prosecuted and detained for the crime of Stock Market Manipulation occurring at this group of enterprises.

After this incident, "Apec" businesses recorded a decline in business and there has been no positive information released yet.
