On the afternoon of November 18, in Dong Nai, the final round of the "Got Talent" contest to find Chinese language talents for the Chinese Consulate General Cup, organized by Lac Hong University, took place.

The contest gathered about 500 students from 6 universities that offer Chinese language training, including: Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, Van Hien University and Lac Hong University.
Full scholarships for students in difficult circumstances
Speaking at the opening of the final round, Mr. Lam Thanh Hien, Principal of Lac Hong University, said that in recent times, Lac Hong University has continuously expanded its exchange relationships with domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises. In particular, the Chinese language department, Faculty of Oriental Studies is one of the departments that has strongly developed its relationships with foreign enterprises.

The contest aims to create an environment for Chinese language students to learn more about the country and people of China, improve their foreign language skills; create a playground for students to demonstrate their artistic talents. The contest is also a place for friendly exchange between Lac Hong University and the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, foreign-invested enterprises and universities that train Chinese language in the South such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, Van Hien University...

After the preliminary round, on the evening of November 18, the jury selected 20 performances to compete in the final round. Of which, Lac Hong University had 15 performances, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology and Van Hien University each had one performance.

As a result, the jury voted and awarded 2 first prizes, belonging to the solo performance of Nguyen Tat Thanh University and the dance performance of Lac Hong University. Awarded 4 second prizes with dance, fashion, and musical performances to Lac Hong University. Awarded 6 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes respectively to Lac Hong University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Van Hien University.
On this occasion, Lac Hong University awarded full scholarships to 19 students in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 200 million VND.
