Traditional Khmer New Year greetings in Romeas Haek district, Svay Rieng province

(BTNO) - On the morning of April 8, a delegation from Chau Thanh district visited and congratulated the Khmer people on their traditional New Year in Romeas Haek district, Svay Rieng province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

The delegation included Mr. Than Van Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Do Thanh Trung - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee.

Leaders of Chau Thanh district and Romeas Haek district took a souvenir photo.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Su Mol - District Chief of Romeas Haek district highly appreciated the friendly and solidarity relationship between Romeas Haek district and Chau Thanh district in recent times.

The District Chief sincerely thanked the delegation of Chau Thanh district for taking the time to visit and wish the government and people of Romeas Haek district a happy new year on the occasion of the traditional Cambodian New Year; hoping that in the coming time, the two localities will maintain and foster good neighborly relations, solidarity and friendship, helping each other to develop together.
