On May 13, Comrade Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a conference to listen to a report on the draft plan to organize the Conference on Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Thanh Hoa Province in 2024.

The 2024 Thanh Hoa Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference will be held at the national level in both direct and online formats. The focal point for organizing the conference is the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; Foreign Investment Agency - Ministry of Planning and Investment. The expected time is in the third quarter of 2024 with an expected number of direct guests of about 1,200 delegates and more than 200 online guests.
Leaders of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion presented the draft Plan to organize the Conference on Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Thanh Hoa Province in 2024.
The conference aims to promote and introduce the potentials, strengths, outstanding and attractive policies and mechanisms of Thanh Hoa province on investment, trade and tourism; introduce the fields and projects that Thanh Hoa province is focusing on prioritizing investment attraction, typical products and attractive tourist destinations in the province. The conference is a forum to gather and attract domestic and foreign organizations, businesses and investors to meet and have open dialogue with the government and businesses of Thanh Hoa province to seek cooperation opportunities in the fields of investment, trade and tourism development; introduce and promote the beauty of the land and people of Thanh Hoa, creating effective communication about Thanh Hoa province with rich potential and many attractive investment opportunities to domestic and foreign businesses and investors.

Delegates attending the conference discussed, reviewed and agreed on the list of projects for which the Decision on Investment Policy Approval; Investment Registration Certificate or Investment Memorandum of Understanding was granted; the location and time of the conference were considered and decided; tasks were assigned to carry out the organization; reception of delegates; security and order assurance; and activities within the framework of the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi affirmed: This is a large-scale conference to promote investment, trade, services and tourism in 2024. Therefore, the organization must ensure solemnity, professionalism, safety and efficiency, creating brand highlights, good images, and spreading effects to the business community and investors. He basically agreed with the plan to organize the Conference to promote investment, trade, services and tourism in Thanh Hoa province in 2024; at the same time, gave opinions to add some contents, overall programs, activities within the framework of the conference; the preparation of documents to introduce and promote opportunities, investment potential, trade, services and tourism of Thanh Hoa province and other activities need to be carefully, methodically and seriously prepared.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi suggested that based on the comments of the departments and branches, the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center review and complete the draft organization plan and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee in May 2024. At the same time, he requested that the assigned departments and branches should make good preparations so that the conference can be organized solemnly and safely, contributing to promoting an image of Thanh Hoa with great potential and attractive investment opportunities to businesses, investors, and friends at home and abroad.
