(Chinhphu.vn) - The Government Office issued Official Dispatch No. 3184/VPCP-CN conveying the Prime Minister's direction on organizing groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for works and projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

The document stated: To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, the Government will organize an online groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony simultaneously in all three regions of the North - Central - South for important works, projects and large works on April 19, 2025. To prepare and organize the ceremony well, the Prime Minister has the following instructions:

The Ministry of Construction - the standing agency in charge, coordinates with the Government Office, ministries and local branches to review projects and works to ensure the scale and conditions for organizing inauguration, groundbreaking, technical traffic opening, closing, etc. according to regulations; to be completed by April 16, 2025.

At the same time, the Ministry of Construction presides over and coordinates with Vietnam Television to draft the central report of the Ceremony and the draft speech of the Prime Minister; send it to the Government Office on April 17, 2025.

Vietnam Television presides over and coordinates with the Ministry of Construction to develop the Program and script of the Ceremony; presides over directing and organizing the Program according to the script, broadcasting live between the connecting points.

Relevant ministries, branches, localities, corporations and general companies proactively prepare all material and technical conditions, organize groundbreaking ceremonies, inauguration ceremonies, technical traffic opening ceremonies, closing ceremonies, etc. of works and projects under their management according to the general scenario developed and organized by the Ministry of Construction and Vietnam Television, ensuring solemnity and economy; proactively arrange technical conditions for online connection; closely coordinate with the Ministry of Construction and Vietnam Television for the success of the Ceremony.

The Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to preside over and directly direct the preparation of the Ceremony.
