PSG faces the risk of losing Mbappe for free in the summer of 2024. The French player insists on staying for another season but does not agree to extend his contract with PSG.
Therefore, the Paris club wants to sell Mbappe in the summer transfer window of 2023. Otherwise, they are willing to "imprison" this player for a year on the bench if he continues to be "stubborn".
To prepare for their plan, PSG spent money to recruit two stars Ousmane Dembele and Goncalo Ramos to replace Mbappe.
These two deals were both negotiated quickly by the rich French team and they will be part of the club in the next few days.
In the Dembele deal, Barcelona coach Xavi admitted about the possibility of his student leaving. He shared: "Dembele told us that he wanted to leave. I feel a bit disappointed about this.
We tried to keep Dembele but he was determined to leave. PSG made us an offer that was too good to refuse.
I asked Dembele why he wanted to leave Barcelona but he didn't answer. I guess it's for personal reasons. If Dembele leaves, I'll be heartbroken. Anyway, we'll soon have a plan to replace him."
It is known that PSG agreed to pay 50 million Euros to release Dembele's contract (after August 1). Therefore, Barcelona cannot intervene in this case.
Not stopping there, according to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano, PSG continued to spend 80 million Euros to recruit striker Goncalo Ramos from Benfica. This player played quite well at the 2022 World Cup when replacing Ronaldo in the Portuguese team.
According to the transfer news "boss", Goncalo Ramos' contract with PSG is valid until June 2028. The deal will be completed this week.
Marca newspaper emphasized: "With these two contracts, PSG no longer needs Mbappe. PSG's leadership is extremely disappointed with the French player's attitude. They are looking to sell him immediately to recover the transfer investment costs."
PSG has offered 250 million Euros for Mbappe. However, many sources say that Real Madrid wants to negotiate to lower the price to recruit the French striker.
