Citing legal regulations, a representative of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City affirmed that there are no regulations on handling performers abroad during the time their performing activities are suspended by competent state agencies.
"Therefore, Mr. Huynh Minh Hung (singer Dam Vinh Hung) was invited by foreign organizations and individuals to sing abroad (not in Vietnam's territory), so there are no sanctions for this case," said a representative of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.
