On the way from Hanoi city center to Thanh Tri bridge, the loudspeaker system is set up right at the bridge head, the gantry area has signs hanging to start going up the main bridge spans.

The loudspeaker was hung on a white painted iron pole. Due to its high power, about half a kilometer from the bridge head, people on motorbikes could hear the sound coming from the loudspeaker.

The broadcast content is propaganda about ensuring order and traffic safety, read by a female announcer, including: "Vehicles pay attention to speed control, keep distance from passengers, do not overtake, do not encroach on lanes to ensure safety...". This content is rewound and rewinded all day.

Through investigation, Tien Phong reporters learned that the installation of a loudspeaker system on Thanh Tri Bridge is part of a project to renovate and improve the infrastructure and signage system to ensure order, traffic safety, and reduce congestion on the bridge.

The project has completed the installation of signs and traffic safety systems including loudspeakers.

Thanh Tri bridge has just been re-lined, lanes re-divided and re-painted.

The purpose of installing the loudspeaker system, implemented by the Department of Maintenance of Traffic Infrastructure Works, Hanoi Department of Transport, is to propagate and remind traffic participants to ensure traffic safety.

Many experts also believe that the vehicles going up the bridge are mainly cars, and since cars have soundproof glass, they will not be able to hear or will have limited ability to hear sounds from outside... Therefore, it is necessary to carefully study and evaluate the installation of high-power audio equipment on urban roads.

Some motorcyclists said that when participating on the road and on the bridge, drivers will pay attention to signs and road markings, and pay little attention to other sounds. Regarding the speakers installed on Thanh Tri Bridge, people have opinions that they should only be installed in urban areas to serve residential areas, and should avoid the sound of the speakers drowning out car horns and warnings from other vehicles participating in traffic...
